Puhoi Village Market: Just Getting Better and Better…

Family fun, great music, dog minding and pet portraits, yoga and lots more.
Music this month is provided by local group the Dirt Road Orchestra and new Puhoi resident, singer song-writer Natalie Northover Winter.
This month’s fund raiser stall will be with the Ahuroa Primary School, tempting us with delicious baked goods and a sausage sizzle.
We are offering 3 free workshops.
10am – 10.25am: Worm Farm Talk by Phillippa Beagley. How to set up and maintain a worm farm compost system. All participants receive a $40 discount towards a new worm farm, bokashi or compost bin.
10.30am – 11am: “Give Yoga a go” with Shelley Charlton. Outdoor Yoga consisting of stretches, standing & balance poses. No mat or experience required. Shelley is a highly qualified instructor and has introduced many absolute beginners to yoga. See www.freeyogaonthebeach.com.
11am – 11.25am Bokashi Composting Talk by Phillippa. How to set up and maintain a Bokashi compost system. All participants receive a $40 discount towards a new worm farm, bokashi or compost bin.
For the kids we have a spot where they can decorate a Sand Saucer for free, materials provided.
We also want to display any funny shaped fruit or vegetable that you have grown so bring it along. Open to any age. A fun competition.
The Sports Club are again putting on breakfast and snacks, upstairs in their rooms.
Located in the heart of Historic Puhoi Village this quirky and relaxed market is a friendly affair, a place to support our local community, socialize, and listen to live music.
This is a great venue with a play area for the kids and free parking. Watch this space for updates. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
