Puhoi Celtic Sessions

We now have over thirty musicians who meet every fortnight in the Village Hall for the pleasure of making folk music (mainly Celtic).

There are accordionists, fiddlers, guitarists, flautists, mandolin-players, singers, foot-tappers, dancers, bodhran bashers, and harpists. in fact it’s a folking orchestra!

We run a dropbox (an on-line repository) of sound files and scores so that anyone – music reader or not – can access our repertoire and practice at home.

I’ve spoken to a few locals who are musicians and am surprised at the number who don’t know of our existence. We welcome all comers – even if your thing is merely listening and humming along.

The next Session is on
MAY 26th (and fortnightly after that).
Village Hall – Puhoi
We tune up at 7.00 pm and start making music at 7.15 pm, winding up at 9.45pm.

If you would like access to the dropbox please send me an email. (alan@raweducation.com) For those who’ve never used dropbox – it’s easy.

Looking forward to even more musicians coming out of the closet.

Slainte!
